Windows Server 2019: Cannot connect to Minecraft server

  1. Open Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security. Open search bar and type WF.msc.
  2. Go to Inbound rules
  3. Create new rule:
    Type: Port, TCP
    Port: 25565 (or other if you want to host your minecraft server on other port)
  4. Select Allow this connection
  5. Try to connect. It should work now :)
